Small Family Garden in Kimpton

This small garden was transformed into an inviting garden to relax and socialise in. We created a split level garden with artificial grass and incorporated curves and circles as the theme throughout the design. The sitting and dining area is perimmited by a small curved brick wall and steps leading to the garden path, that leads to the summerhouse as well as the addditional sitting area at the rear of the garden, which houses a firepit for evening entertainment.

The garden borders have been planted with similar evegreen, deciduous shrubs,perennials plant and climbers in order to soften the fence line.

The colour scheme is warm with different shades which creates a relaxed mood in the planting. Scented plants such as Lonicera and Lavendula will fill the air with a sweet fragrance in the summer by the main sitting area. The tree Acer palmatum’Fireglow’ is the main focal point at the centre of the garden. Bulbs are also used to extend the season and add colour to the border throughout the year.
